How We Get Our Prices

Every price on this site comes from the same routine, and the routine is published so you can judge the numbers yourself.

The Four Stores

We check the same four stores every time, spread across the chain's price levels:

StoreAddressPrice level
Vista, CA823 E Vista Way, Vista, CA 92084High
Milwaukie, OR14423 SE McLoughlin Blvd, Milwaukie, ORMiddle
Richmond, TX19205 W Bellfort St, Richmond, TX 77407Low
Boise, ID1604 S Broadway Ave, Boise, ID 83706Low

The Rules

Pickup prices only. We read each store's own ordering page and record the pickup price. Delivery listings run higher for the identical drink, and a price copied from a delivery app overstates what you pay at the counter.

Ranges, never one number. If the four stores disagree, the page shows the low and the high. The widest disagreement on the current menu is the Fuel Can: $5.20 in Richmond, $7.35 in Vista.

Every figure carries a date. The current set was checked October 28, 2026. We re-check the most viewed items monthly and the full menu quarterly, and price changes are approved from a diff list before they go live, never scraped straight onto a page.

What we cannot verify, we label. The chain does not publish its size ladder, sweetness levels, milk alternatives, or modifier upcharges in the listings we can reach, so those do not appear as facts here. Where stores disagree with each other, for example one bagel listed at 160 calories in Texas and 290 in Oregon, the item page flags the conflict instead of averaging it away.

Why Bother?

Because the alternative is common and sloppy. The best-known Black Rock menu blog prints one flat price per drink. Its Iced I.V. figure, $11.05, matches a single delivery listing to the cent. The highest pickup price we found for that drink at four real stores is $8.80. A range built from pickup prices at several stores is more work. It is also the only version that survives a trip to the drive-thru.

About the Pictures

The drink pictures on this site are illustrations drawn for this guide, in its own colors. They show the style of each drink (iced, hot, blended, frozen) and take their color from the drink's flavors; they are not photographs of the chain's products. Food pictures are stock photography. No image on this site comes from the chain, its stores, or its ordering pages.
